As one true OG  Litecoin   enthusiast, I wanted to test the site, or better, the NFT marketplace  Liteverse.io  since its launch in 2022. At first, I claimed Litecoin Summit collectors NFT. But, for several reasons, the test of minting my first NFT got a bit delayed. But now I finally have the time and the need to make use of it for a larger cause. I am sad I procrastinated a little. As it would have been a great honor to be the first one to give it a try, but given my lack of technical skills to use just code to mint outside of a marketplace, waiting was a great idea since the site is super user-friendly and it's quality has improved considerably. I would say Liteverse.io is ready for the mainstream. Minting on it or acquiring an NFT on the Litecoin network is now a Piece of cake! ShapeShift Rainfall - Earn Fox Tokens & Trade Directly from Hardware Wallet

One of my favorite platforms to trade cryptocurrency is Shapeshift. Unlike the major crypto exchanges such as Coinbase, Binance, and Gemini, Shapeshift allows me to trade directly from My hardware wallet, providing me with an intuitively safer experience. 


Trading on Shapeshift is different to trading on exchanges, and quite similar experience to making a swap on a decentralized exchange since the cryptocurrency funds that I am trading are out of my full control only for a split second, the actual moment of the trade. Just like a swap. This method makes it super practical for me to maintain my funds in my hardware wallet at all times and that is something hard to do when trading on centralized cryptocurrency exchanges.


From my own experience, when purchasing or trading cryptocurrencies in those exchanges (which I still do it occasionally don't take me wrong) I often tend to leave a bit there, to trade later, or stuck on a buy or stop-loss order, or even because I wanted to avoid fees. But given the instability of centralized institutions, it always recommended to NEVER leave crypto funds in exchange. 


With Shapeshift I can make sure I do that just that and I avoid one extra transfer step.


On the other hand, Shapeshift does not offer all the features, the bells, and whistles and trading competitions that often attract traders to major exchanges. It is not as complex, but I happen to like and enjoy its simplicity. 


Occasionally the Shapeshift platform provides fun events, to draw in more clients, in which they distribute FOX tokens, the native token of the Shapeshift exchange. Right now the Rainfall event is going on, which I think is inspired by the DEFI revolution.
