As one true OG  Litecoin   enthusiast, I wanted to test the site, or better, the NFT marketplace  Liteverse.io  since its launch in 2022. At first, I claimed Litecoin Summit collectors NFT. But, for several reasons, the test of minting my first NFT got a bit delayed. But now I finally have the time and the need to make use of it for a larger cause. I am sad I procrastinated a little. As it would have been a great honor to be the first one to give it a try, but given my lack of technical skills to use just code to mint outside of a marketplace, waiting was a great idea since the site is super user-friendly and it's quality has improved considerably. I would say Liteverse.io is ready for the mainstream. Minting on it or acquiring an NFT on the Litecoin network is now a Piece of cake! What happened at the Litecoin Summit 2022 Las Vegas

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. The Litecoin Summit was a livestreamed event featuring some of the most important names in the cryptocurrency industry, while celebrating the recent innovations implemented in the Litecoin blockchain.


The event was cozy and intimate. Guests had the opportunity to mingle with the Litecoin Creator Charlie Lee. They learned to code with Litecoin Developers such as Loshan and David Burcket and also engaged in conversations with several big Players in the industry, such as Paul Puey creator and CEO of Edge Wallet, the team from Antpool, Bitpay, Get Hedge and many others. 


It is clear that the industry is branching out into several niches, such as new payments systems, NFTs, decentralized finance, tokenization and the realm of possibilities continue to increase with every update, with every new idea sparked in events just like this one. 


The highlight of the convention for me was learning the new capabilities of the Litecoin Network. The reality is some things that sounded like a dream, such as smart contracts and fungibility on the Litecoin network are now features that trendsetters have already begun to test and use. 

To give you an example of the new applications developed in the Litecoin network, during the event a promotion invited the first 84 ticket holders to claim an NFT in the Liteverse.io NFT Marketplace.That showcases how some of these features are fully functional today. In my opinion, it is just a matter of time until other folks in the industry figure out the perks of transacting in an inexpensive, reliable and secure network that this October completed 11 years of up time. 


I guess I will end here, but not without highlighting the after-parties and events that evolved around the Litecoin Summit. To me a crypto event feels like a digital renascence. A big community, an environment where participants are fully motivated to engage, to exchange their knowledge and resources. All for the great cause of creating a perfect decentralized ecosystem for all of us. I hope I get to see you in my next blockchain event destination.
