Exploring Liteverse.io: The first NFT marketplace on the Litecoin network with my first collection dedicated to the Mighty Mia Event #dancingforjoy + Quick Sign up and funding tutorial

As one true OG  Litecoin   enthusiast, I wanted to test the site, or better, the NFT marketplace  Liteverse.io  since its launch in 2022. At first, I claimed Litecoin Summit collectors NFT. But, for several reasons, the test of minting my first NFT got a bit delayed. But now I finally have the time and the need to make use of it for a larger cause. I am sad I procrastinated a little. As it would have been a great honor to be the first one to give it a try, but given my lack of technical skills to use just code to mint outside of a marketplace, waiting was a great idea since the site is super user-friendly and it's quality has improved considerably. I would say Liteverse.io is ready for the mainstream. Minting on it or acquiring an NFT on the Litecoin network is now a Piece of cake! In this article I will describe my experience, the reason why my first series of NFTs was created, and most importantly the advantages and disadvantages of creating an nft (Non-fungible Token) or an nft

Litecoin announces the release of a debit card - Blockcard Supports LTC, BTC, ETH and More

The Litecoin Foundation announced recently the release of its much anticipated project, the Blockcard debit card.  The debit card will enable Litecoin holders to load their Visa Blockcard with Litecoin and spend their Litecoin assets as cash anywhere Visa is accepted. A technology that bridges a gap between commerce and a new age of global consumers spending digital cash.

The Litecoin Foundation teamed up with Ternio, crypto credit card provider and Bibox exchange to create a seamless experience for the end consumer when using the Crypto Debit cards. Together they are able to provide a technology that protects the store owner from market volatility. while at the same time, makes it practical for the consumer to spend their crypto assets. The client now is able to load the (Ternio Blockcard) card with Litecoin (LTC), Ternio (TERN), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and more. At point of sale the cryptocurrency gets converted into cash. All, possible by the integration with  BiBox exchange that automatically converts the Litecoin into cash as soon as the card is swiped by the client.

Although this technology is quite advanced remember that it is possible to save more when you do transact directly using Litecoin itself. Companies can now set up and install complete payment systems into their online and physical stores, minimizing their merchant fees. Few merchant solutions for crypto available are: Coinbase Commerce, BitPay, Alliant and Nationwide. Also consumers can download wallets directly into their phone and spend cryptocurrencies using their QR code or crypto wallet address. The official Litecoin wallet is named Loaf Wallet and can be downloaded directly from the Litecoin Foundation web site. There are also multi-currency wallets available that support Litecoin and thousands of other currencies available in the market today. It is important to get educated on all the security steps prior to downloading and using the technology to guarantee the safety of funds.

Final note

The Blockcard release is certainly great news for Litecoin and the Litecoin community. It will enable Litecoin users to spend their Litecoin assets as cash in all business Visa is accepted. I personally believe mass adoption of cryptocurrencies will move in a much faster pace as the prospect of this idea come to life. As regulators adjust to the news I also believe other cryptocurrencies will jump into the idea and possibly launch their own debit cards or join in Blockcard as they gain market share as spendable assets.

Yeah but how are taxes going to work?
I know there's a sales tax but how are we going to figure out how to pay taxes on profit?
