As one true OG  Litecoin   enthusiast, I wanted to test the site, or better, the NFT marketplace  Liteverse.io  since its launch in 2022. At first, I claimed Litecoin Summit collectors NFT. But, for several reasons, the test of minting my first NFT got a bit delayed. But now I finally have the time and the need to make use of it for a larger cause. I am sad I procrastinated a little. As it would have been a great honor to be the first one to give it a try, but given my lack of technical skills to use just code to mint outside of a marketplace, waiting was a great idea since the site is super user-friendly and it's quality has improved considerably. I would say Liteverse.io is ready for the mainstream. Minting on it or acquiring an NFT on the Litecoin network is now a Piece of cake! Apenas o Bitcoin sobreviveria uma catástrofe nuclear indica Charlie Shrem -

Tem gente que acredita que o fim do mundo está chegando. Não importa a causa, seja ela um evento natural ou uma guerra nuclear, todos nós sabemos que nossa existência nesse planeta é apenas temporária, mas caso um ataque nuclear global realmente aconteça Charlie Shrem, um dos pioneiros do Bitcoin e fundador da BitcoinFoundation.org, acredita que o Bitcoin sobreviverá.

Os saldos dos bancos não terão significado

Para Charlie Shrem a natureza física  to dinheiro é sua maior fraqueza contra um ataque nuclear. O dinheiro em si está suscetível de ser incinerado na bola de fogo, e os bancos ficariam aleijados. A deles bancos virariam cinzas ou contaminados com radiação, e não teriam energia nor communication tools. Por isso, os saldos de repente não teriam mais significado. Ninguém poderá ir ao banco ao caixa eletrônico porque os bancos não estarão em funcionamento.

Bitcoin após uma guerra nuclear

O Bitcoin não possuí uma presença física, por isso nenhum bitcoin será destruído na bola de fogo. De acordo com Charlie o fator mais importante na sobrevivência do Bitcoin; caso exista um ataque nuclear mundial, é a sua descentralização. O Bitcoin não tem um único ponto de falha. Enquanto houver pelo menos um nó executando o Bitcoin, a rede Bitcoin continuará a funcionar. E é realmente bem provável que alguns nós sobreviveriam ao redor do mundo e poderiam se comunicar uns com os outros usando internet satélite.

Nota Final

Para concluir vemos que os bancos precisam de condições ótimas ou quase perfeitas para operar. E não seria qualquer um de nós cidadãos que poderia operar um banco legalmente. Bitcoin no contrário pode ser operada por qualquer um. Não seria facil e os Bitcoiners teriam que tomar algumas providências para garantir que possam continuar usando Bitcoin.  Mas mesmo no pior cenário quando a maior parte do mundo é destruída por armas nucleares a existência do Bitcoin continua sendo uma possibilidade.
