As one true OG  Litecoin   enthusiast, I wanted to test the site, or better, the NFT marketplace  Liteverse.io  since its launch in 2022. At first, I claimed Litecoin Summit collectors NFT. But, for several reasons, the test of minting my first NFT got a bit delayed. But now I finally have the time and the need to make use of it for a larger cause. I am sad I procrastinated a little. As it would have been a great honor to be the first one to give it a try, but given my lack of technical skills to use just code to mint outside of a marketplace, waiting was a great idea since the site is super user-friendly and it's quality has improved considerably. I would say Liteverse.io is ready for the mainstream. Minting on it or acquiring an NFT on the Litecoin network is now a Piece of cake! Quais as possíveis consequências do Hard Fork da BCH?

O Hard Fork BCH que ocorreu ontem, 15 de Novembro de 2018 é um dos hard forks mais polêmicos na curta história das cripto moedas. Um pouco mais de um ano após sua separação de rede original do Bitcoin; o BCH se encontra em uma nova disputa. O hard fork que foi inicialmente planejado como um update de protocol virou uma guerra de influências. 

 De um lado se encontra o time original do Bitcoin Cash. Com Bitcoin ABC e o apoio de Roger Ver e Amaury Séchel. Consequentemente, do outro lado se encontra a Bitcoin SV com o apoio de Craig Wright também conhecido como Fake Satoshi.

 Com a separação do ecosystem da Bitcoin Cash, mineradores consequentemente já tiveram que escolher qual rede seguir. No momento o que vemos é uma guerra de hash power.  Duas redes lutando por sua sobrevivência e por sua valorização. 

 A possibilidade de um "clean split" com replay protection é inexistente. Apesar do "Replay Protection" ter sido implementado pela rede da Bitcoin ABC, o próprio foi copiado pela Bitcoin SV com o objetivo de neutraliza-lo. Então o que podemos esperar? 

 Quais as possíveis consequências desse Hard Fork?

 Bom, no momento a situação é bem complicada.

 Opção 1: Apenas uma moeda sobrevive o split e a outra desaparece como muitas outras versões da Bitcoin já desapareceram

 Opção 2: As duas moedas sobrevivem e eventualmente se separam, cada uma com seu nome e "ticker" - Talvez Bitcoin ABC continue sendo Bitcoin Cash e Bitcoin SV apareça nas exchanges. Levando em consideração que replay protection é inexistente, e com isso não se é recomendado transferir BCH entre exchanges e carteiras durante esse período. Durante essa period de transição, ao utilizar uma moeda você está automaticamente utilizando a outra. Portanto, é importante usar um "splitter" caso você não queira esperar o fim da disputa.

 Opção 3:  As duas moedas morrem. De fato, não podemos ignorar essa possibilidade. Se essa guerra de hash continuar as duas moedas podem acabar se exterminando. Uma maneira disso acontecer seria um ataque de 51% de hash ou simplesmente a perda de confiança da comunidade. 

 Felizmente esse é um dilema que não afeta os usuários da Bitcoin (BTC) ou qualquer outra crypto moeda no mercado. Para quem gostaria de monitorar acesse hashwars.cash
